Drug & Alcohol Consultant Liaison Service

 

The Drug and Alcohol Consultation Liaison Service at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) provides expert guidance and advice to internal clinical staff caring for inpatients who have been identified with drug and alcohol issues. This service is available Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. 

The service provides advice on treatment options for patients who are unwell due to their use of alcohol or drugs, while they are under care at the RAH, and assists in the identification of appropriate service for patients for follow-up or additional treatment following discharge.

How to access this service

Referrals from internal clinicians are to be made via the EPAS portal after the patient has been fully assessed.
