The Department of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) provides inpatient and outpatient services for patients living in the central Adelaide region. 

Services are also provided to patients referred from rural and remote areas.

The Department of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery provides care to those who suffer from:

• ear, nose and throat (ENT) disorders
• salivary gland disorders
• pharynx tonsil and adenoid problems
• and neck masses (cancerous or non-cancerous for investigation and management). 

The Department of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery is a recognised centre of excellence for the treatment of head and neck cancer. It is also internationally recognised for its work in sinus and skull base surgery.

It also serves as the major tertiary referral centre for remote areas including the Northern Territory, Broken Hill, Mount Gambier, Port Lincoln, Port Augusta, Port Pirie, Whyalla, the far West Coast of South Australia and Mildura.

Otorhinolaryngology at the RAH provides a 24-hour on call service for the central Adelaide region. A consultation and surgical service for RAH inpatients is also provided.
