As part of the Royal Adelaide Volunteer Service, volunteers visit inpatient wings across the RAH to offer support and assistance to patients and their loved ones.
This includes helping patients purchase any items they may need, such as newspapers and magazines, from the newsagency.
Volunteers have a cash float of $15 or $20, but do no take credit cards.
