The CALHN CEO Clinical Rapid Implementation Project Scheme (CALHN CEO CRIPS Grant) provides funding support for novel projects that will improve health service delivery within CALHN.
It is anticipated that the successful projects could be implemented as a CALHN policy within 12 months of completion of the 2-year grant, while generating ideas for future federal grant applications - such as the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF).
The Prof John Beltrame AM / CEO Innovation Award is an additional award from the same pool of applicants, selected on the basis of it being particularly innovative, addressing clear unmet need and ideally, both.
These grants are supported by donations held by the Health Services Charitable Gift Board (HSCGB) and projects need to benefit patients and/or improve health service delivery at CALHN.

We expect the 2026-28 process to commence in May/June 2025.
